What is STS Conversion?
Currently, many pilots operate under the STS-ES scenarios defined by AESA. However, European regulations are moving towards a unified environment, so that these scenarios must be converted to European STS: STS-01 and STS-02, included in the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/947.
This means that any pilot who is now certified under national STS must adapt to European Requirements to continue flying legally in the specific category.
Why is this conversion done?

Who does it affect?

- 2025: Last year to train or fly under STS-ES.
